November 11th, 2010Thank you to my sister and partner
November 6th, 2010To my sister and partner,
It’s been a blast to share Bear Hug Designs with you. Do you remember (need I ask) the day that I called you to ask if you wanted to go into business together? In case you don’t, I think you said, “No one by the name of Alison lives here?” CLICK!
But of course, you were signed on. And boy, oh boy, haven’t we had fun? (That is rhetorical!!!!!!!) It’s been quite a journey. We’ve learned, made more mistakes than humanly possible, learned more, laughed, cried, and built muscles putting together trade shows. We’ve nursed sore feet, had too many glasses of wine before a big trade show day, eaten HUGE egg and cheese NY sandwiches…………. and loved every minute of it. There is nothing like chasing the American dream, especially when you share it with your best friend.
Alison, I must say………………
THANK YOU! Thank you for all you did, for doing it with me, for sharing every step of the way. This is burned into our memory and is now part of us. And I love you for doing it with me.
Wanna go into the mini drink umbrella business together? Think, little polka dots, wiggle lines, patterns galore??? :0) We could name it, Rainy Day Drink Accessories!!!!!!
I just crack myself up.

November 4th, 2010New Adventure!
November 2nd, 2010Ok, folks. Here it is! I’m moving into licensing. I’m closing Bear Hug Designs and starting Amy Moglia, LLC. Incase you aren’t getting this, THIS IS BIG! At least for me.
I’m very excited and hope you all will continue to support me and my love of drawing. Remember in your own lives, keep the focus on the goal! Whether it’s raising your children or finding the cutest invitation to introduce your party or anything in between, it’s important to follow your heart and go after your dream! And only you can know what your dream is. I must say that I love people who risk it all, throw caution to the dogs, and GO AFTER IT.
My husband is one of those types. Of course, being married to him may kill me, but I still love it! (:0) I thrive on the passion like it’s food. Call me nuts.
So anyway, I’m announcing that I’m closing Bear Hug Designs. This hasn’t come easily. I wouldn’t be doing it except I really believe that I am entering another faze. I’m already selling my designs to Snapfish and am eager to begin licensing. I need to move away from the day to day business part and move to the day to day drawing part.
I hope you all follow your dreams too. It’s a nice adventure.
